WEEI Supports the Jimmy Fund Through Its Annual Golf Tournament

A Massachusetts real estate developer with a career that dates back to 1987, Michael Intoccia is best known as the driving force behind the Florida golfing facilities and communities of the Cape Club. Michael Intoccia, also a golfer, has a history of participating in the WEEI Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament.

The Jimmy Fund has been raising money to support Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for 75 years. For the past two decades, Jimmy Fund Golf has been one of its important charitable programs.

Hosted by the southeastern New England sports radio station WEEI, the WEEI Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament has contributed more than $223,000 to the Jimmy Fund as of 2023. Specifically, it funds efforts to send teens with cancer to spring training with the Boston Red Sox. Recent WEEI Jimmy Fund Golf Tournaments have featured several on-course competitions for different skill and contest prizes as well as three meals that end with a combination dinner and awards ceremony.
